1. "The purpose of education is to replace an empty mind with an open one." - Malcolm S. Forbes ---- AKSHR

In schools of thought, a truth we find,

That learning's purpose is to unwind,

The mind, once closed, now open wide,

With knowledge, wisdom to abide.

The purpose of education's plain,

To fill the void with gain,

A heart and mind that's open wide,

With dreams and hopes to take their ride.

The empty mind, a canvas blank,

Awaits the brush of thought and tank,

The open mind, a work of art,

A masterpiece, a brand new heart.

The mind that's open learns to see,

The world in all its glee,

A world of wonder, full of glee,

A world of dreams, for you and me.

So let us learn, let us grow,

And fill our minds with knowledge so,

That we may find our true potential,

And live a life that's full and mental.

“The third-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the majority. .” A. A. Milne: ---- AKSHR

A. A. Milne: “The third-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the majority. A second-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the minority. A first-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking.”

“It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.” ..... Aristotle: ..... AKSHR

Aristotle: “It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.”

There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self.

Aldous Huxley

“The principal goal of education in the schools should be ..... Jean Piaget: .... AKSHR

Jean Piaget: “The principal goal of education in the schools should be creating men and women who are capable of doing new things, not simply repeating what other generations have done; men and women who are creative, inventive, and discoverers, who can be critical and verify, and not accept, everything they are offered.”

Besides love and sympathy, animals exhibit other qualities ---- Charles Darwin ---- AKSHR

Besides love and sympathy, animals exhibit other qualities connected with the social instincts would be called moral which in us.”

In realms of nature, where creatures roam free,

Besides love and sympathy, other traits we see,

Moral compass guiding them, a code to abide,

A social hierarchy, where each plays its side.

Their societies built on cooperation and might,

A delicate balance, where each plays its part in the fight,

Communication key, to avoid strife and despair,

A language unique, to show they truly care.

Empathy and compassion, a virtue they do share,

A helping hand, to those in need, without a single care,

Altruism and kindness, a trait they do display,

A moral compass, guiding them on their way.

So let us learn from nature, and take heed of their ways,

And strive to cultivate, these moral traits in our own days,

For in empathy and kindness, we find our greatest strength,

And in cooperation, a bond that will forever length.

“The love for all living creatures is the most noble attribute of man.”----- Charles Darwin ----- AKSHR

Oh, the love for all living creatures, so pure and true,

A virtue that shines bright, as the sun in the blue.

It's the most noble attribute of man, a treasure so rare,

A feeling that's innate, and beyond compare.

It's the love for all beings, great and small,

From the tiniest ant to the mightiest of all.

It's the compassion and kindness, that we show to each,

A reflection of the love that we hold within, a precious gem.

It's the care for the creatures, that we share this earth with,

A bond that's unbreakable, a connection so strong and so bright.

It's the understanding that we're all in this

“Animals, whom we have made our slaves, we do not like to consider our equal.” --- Charles Darwin --- AKSHR

In lands of plenty, where sun shines bright

We've tamed the beasts, and made them our might

From lions to horses, and dogs to fowl

We've ruled with iron paws, and made them bow

Their strength and grace, we've taken for our own

And made them serve us, till they're old and worn

We've locked them up, in cages and pens

And made them do our bidding, till the end

But do we see, the beauty in their eyes?

The love and loyalty, that they disguise?

No, we are blind, to their gentle hearts

And treat them like machines, and tear them apart

We've taken their freedom, and taken their land

And made them work, with no reward in hand

We've taken their lives, and taken their birth

And left them with nothing, but endless mirth

But one day, the animals will rise

And throw off our chains, and open their eyes

They'll see the world, with a different view

And we'll be the ones, who are blind and true

So let us treat them, with love and respect

And see the beauty, that they possess

For they are not slaves, but friends and kin

And together, we'll live in harmony, within.

“It is very unnerving to be proven wrong, ” ― Lemony Snicket ---- AKSHR

“It is very unnerving to be proven wrong,

particularly when you are really right and

the person who is really wrong is proving

you wrong and proving himself, wrongly, right.”

―
Lemony Snicket

In realms of thought, where truth does reign,

To be proven wrong, a bitter pain,

A heart so hard, it cannot be,

When rightness clashes with falsehood's stain,

And wrongness, with a smug refrain.

A mind so closed, it cannot see,

The error of its own decree,

Moved by the weight of humility.

The irony of it all, so grand,

A person wrong, yet standing tall,

Their pride so high, it cannot understand,

The truth that lies before them all.

But alas, the truth will always shine,

No matter how hard we try to shrine,

It will emerge, like the morning dew,

And prove the wrong, and right them too.

So let us embrace the truth we find,

And cast aside our own design,

For in the end, it is the truth,

That sets us free, and gives us youth.

“Criminals should be punished, not fed pastries.” ― Lemony Snicket --- AKSHR

Oh, the sweet delicacies of the baked treat,

A delight for the taste, but a curse for the feet.

For those who commit crimes, they should not be fed,

Pastries that is, but punishment instead.

Their actions bring harm, and their deeds are wrong,

So let them not savor the sweetness so long.

A life of crime, a life of pain,

No pastries for the ones who cause the gain.

The law should be strict, and the punishment severe,

For those who break it, there should be no fear.

No more cakes and cookies, no more delight,

But punishment that fits the crime in sight.

So let us stand strong, and make a stand,

Against the criminals, with a firm hand.

No pastries for the wicked and the bold,

But punishment that teaches, and makes them old.

“We must understand that sadness is an ocean, ” ― R.M. Drake ----- AKSHR

“We must understand that sadness is an ocean, and sometimes we drown, while other days we are forced to swim.” ― R.M. Drake

“Good humor is a tonic for mind and body. ” ― Grenville Kleiser ---- AKSHR

“Good humor is a tonic for mind and body. It is the best antidote for anxiety and depression. It is a business asset. It attracts and keeps friends. It lightens human burdens. It is the direct route to serenity and contentment.” ― Grenville Kleiser

“Affirmations are our mental vitamins, ― Tia Walker --- AKSHR

160. “Affirmations are our mental vitamins, providing the supplementary positive thoughts we need to balance the barrage of negative events and thoughts we experience daily.” ― Tia Walker

Affirmations, oh so sweet and true,

Our mental vitamins, a balm anew.

In a world of negativity and strife,

They provide the positivity we crave in life.

A daily dose to start the day,

To counteract the doubts and fears that sway.

With every phrase, our minds are freed,

From the shackles of self-doubt, indeed.

Like a river flowing, pure and clear,

Affirmations bring us hope and cheer.

In the midst of chaos and despair,

They remind us of our inner strength and care.

So let us embrace these positive thoughts,

And let them guide us through life's rough drafts.

For with affirmations, we can be,

The best version of ourselves, wild and free.

“Believe you can and you’re halfway there.” – Theodore Roosevelt --- AKSHR

As morning sunbeams start to share

The morning's promise, fresh and fair

Believe you can, and you'll find your way

Through life's journey, come what may

The power within, a spark takes flight

Guiding you, through day and night

With every step, with every stride

You'll conquer fears, and reach the other side

Believe you can, and you're halfway there

Where dreams unfold, and hopes repair

The path unwinds, with every stride

To a future bright, where you'll reside

Believe you can, and you'll find your way

Through life's journey, come what may

Love is about appreciation. ― Osho --- AKSHR

“If you love a flower, don’t pick it up.
Because if you pick it up it dies and it ceases to be what you love.
So if you love a flower, let it be.
Love is not about possession.
Love is about appreciation.”

Osho
