Watch the Stars Fall
Space is nothing but a
vacuum but it has energy,
as we see in the twinkling
of stars and planets.
Without space, we would not
have the atoms that make up our bodies,
the oxygen we breathe, the
very air we are breathing now.
Without space there can be no energy. Without an atom there can be no star or planet.
Without a tree there can be
no wood for a table, no wood for chairs on which to sit,
no wood for a fire to warm
us from the coldness of space.
It is only when we move
through space does it become alive with energy:
the energy of the stars and
planets, the energy of our bodies,
the energy we need to live.
