I wish that you were here, or I was there, 

or we were together anywhere. 

Because, I miss you so much

I wish that we met and loved 

as if for the first time in our lives, 

as if we were both children

I wish that you had not gone away, 

or rather, I wish I had not let you go

I wish we had stayed in our old room, 

with a view of the river and 

all those stars we missed, so many nights
