Staring at the Sun

 

Tell me, what is it you plan to do

with your one wild and precious life?

 

I know: one life,

 

a few decades before the darkness.

 

But what can you do in that time? What must you do?

Without a single regret, I’d say, “Live. Love. Laugh.”

Soak it all up like a sponge; live each day to its fullest;

Learn from your mistakes and if you don’t make any—bravo!

Don’t be afraid of change or moving forward with your plan—

Go out into the world and experience as many things as possible,

But always remember that nothing is more important than your health;

You only get one chance at this dance so take care of yourself physically;

Pay attention to your mind and emotions as well—the warning signs are there;

And don’t forget to take time for yourself, relax and enjoy the scenery.
