The Whirlpool
The psychotic drowns in the same waters
in which the mystic swims with delight
Each time I finish a poem,
I have to wait for the next
one.
Then I find it, and begin
again:
it's not that hard to write
poems.
It just takes patience—and
a lot of work.
A poet writes a poem with
great
pleasure, and doesn't let herself
be limited by what has already been said.
