The Road Less Travelled AKSHR
A beautiful woman looking
at her image in the mirror may very well believe the image is herself. An ugly
woman knows it is not
She knows that her lover
waits outside, like a hunter. She pauses to imagine what the world looks like
through his eyes
She imagines the world as a
hunter. She sees his prey as beauty. The forest is alive with game. It's
silent, but for the twigs and branches that break underfoot
The woman looks at her
reflection in the mirror, but she sees herself through her lover's eyes.
