free thinker is an eagle
who knows no man’s land or fence
who has never flown to a tree
has only ever flapped and been free
He sees with his own eyes
not through the lens of the past,
nor
through a hole in the present
nor through the eyes of others,
living
or dead.
He thinks with his own mind,
not with
borrowed thoughts or words.
He speaks what he feels and hears what he hears
— it may be few words or
many words,
but all true. He is an eagle.
