Humanity is the religion that begins
where hatred ends.
Its temple is the human heart.
Its holy book is compassion.
Its prayer is kindness.
Its miracle is love.
A truly humane person does not ask:
“Who are you?”
before offering help.
They simply see another human being.
Perhaps that is the highest form of
spirituality —
to recognize ourselves in one another.
For when humanity becomes our religion,
every human being becomes family,
every act of kindness becomes worship,
and
the world itself becomes sacred.
