What you see is not what others see..... George Monbiot .... AKSHR

What you see is not what others see.

We inhabit parallel worlds of perception, bounded by our interests and experience.

What is obvious to some is invisible to others.

George Monbiot

The tapestry of sight, a woven thread,

Of hues and forms, a world displayed.

But eyes perceive in patterns unique,

A fractured view, a different pique.

For what is clear to one, a vibrant scene,

May fade to grey, a silent sheen,

In others' eyes, a world unseen,

By filters built, of past and keen.

The bustling street, a vibrant throng,

To one, a symphony, a song.

To another soul, a hurried race,

A blur of faces, time and space.

The whispered words, a tender plea,

To one, a love, eternally.

To others' ears, a passing sound,

Lost in the echoes, all unbound.

The hidden depths, a secret kept,

By those who see, a truth they've swept

Into their hearts, a treasure kept,

While others walk, their eyes unslept.

For parallel worlds, we each inhabit,

By interests shaped, and lessons grabbed.

What's obvious bright, to one's keen gaze,

May lie unseen, in shadowed maze.

So let us see, with hearts so wide,

The varied views, by which we ride.

For in each soul, a universe lies,

With different hues, beneath their skies.
