“Trees are poems that the earth writes upon the sky.”
— Kahlil Gabran
Trees, oh trees, so
tall and strong,
Poems written by the
earth, all day long.
Their leaves, like
words, in gentle breeze,
Sway and dance, with
graceful ease.
Their trunks, like
sentences, so straight and true,
Support the branches,
with stories anew.
Their roots, like
punctuation, deep and wide,
Hold the earth, with a
steadfast stride.
In autumn, when the
leaves turn gold,
Their beauty shines,
like stories told.
In winter, when they
stand so bare,
Their strength and
grace, we dare to share.
Through every season,
they remain,
A testament to earth's
refrain.
Trees are poems,
written in the sky,
A beautiful and
timeless rhyme, for all to see.
