The Eye of the Beholder
The eye sees only what the mind is prepared to comprehend.
Without us, there is no seeing.
Without us, there is no beauty or ugliness.
The eye’s defect is its ability to see what does not exist.
Trees are mere visual distractions from the presence of light—
a phenomenon beyond human comprehension, yet witnessed by all.
That which we behold becomes our reality; we become blind to all
else.
