At the River's Mouth
It is when you experience another's suffering
as your own that
your human values is manifested
It is when you don't know what to say but you can
feel the pain of
others that you find your voice
It is when you feel the presence of another in a crowd
that you
realize how important they are to your life
It is when someone cries and your eyes water that you realize
how much others affect us physically and emotionally
It is when you see someone's pain and you feel the need
to be with
them that you realize how much we are connected
It is when you experience another's suffering
that needs a proper
ending.
