The Fire of Love
Love in its essence
is spiritual fire.
It is the sun in
the heart of our being.
It is a blazing fire.
The soul is afire with
love because it is alive,
because it is one with God,
and God is Love.
This fire cannot be extinguished
by the floods of darkness,
any more than the sun can
be quenched by night.
Love endures all things
and conquers all things,
for it has its source in God.
The fire of love is the power of love.
