“The only people who
fear death are the ones with regret.”
Unknown
In life's grand tapestry, death is the final
thread,
The only one that brings an end to all we've
said.
But for those who fear it, their hearts are
filled with dread,
For they know that their regrets will be buried
in their bed.
Their days are filled with "what ifs"
and "ifs only,"
Their nights with tears and sorrow, their minds
in a whirl.
They've lived a life of "should have"
and "could have,"
And now they fear the end will bring no
reprieve.
But for those who live with no regrets,
Death is just a door to a new chapter, a new
wets.
Their hearts are light, their spirits free,
For they know they've lived a life that's true
to thee.
So let us not fear death, but live with glee,
For the only people who fear death are the ones
with regret, you see.
Let us live each day with purpose and grace,
And when our time on earth is done, we'll find
our place.
