I Know
When I want to smile,
I know exactly what to do,
I just close my eyes and I
think of you.
Without you, I’m still
running.
I need to find your face in
the crowd,
the only one looking back
at me.
Without you, I’m just a
tangle of limbs
and a mouth full of
questions.
I want to open my eyes and
be sure that
everything is as it should
be:
that you are here with me.
