The Door into Summer
if the doors of perception
were cleansed,
everything would
appear as it is, indefinite.
no longer
would you see stars
in the
daytime,
the forest would
not appear to be singing,
the water would be
still and silent as glass.
without perception
there is only truth,
and it is beautiful and
terrible and dark:
when the doors of perception
are cleansed,
nothing
will seem to exist.
without any place to go
or anyone to see or thing to do,
you will experience
a vast and perfect contentment.
without need for
effort or desire for action,
you will simply be.
