Who, being loved, is poor? Oscar Wilde ---- AKSHR

Who, being loved, is poor? Oscar Wilde

Who, being loved, is poor?

A question that's both old and poor.

For love, they say, is blind,

But wealth, it is not kind.

When love is pure and true,

It shines like diamonds do.

But when it's tainted by wealth,

It loses all its health.

For love that's bought and sold,

Is not worth much, I'm told.

True love is priceless, they say,

But wealth can't buy it, anyway.

So who, being loved, is poor?

The one who values love, not more.

For love is worth more than gold,

And wealth, it is not bold.
