That Which You Long For
I have to study myself in actuality – as I am, not as I wish to
be.
In order to be that which I am not, I must first be that which I
am.
To be myself, I must study my being in the moment – just as it is.
Without fear or judgment. Without hope or expectation.
In the moment where I have nothing to cling to but what is before
me:
a cup of coffee, a flower, a raindrop on a leaf.
Without anything to prove and with everything at stake.
I have to study myself in actuality – as I am, not as I wish to
be.
