To Criticize is Human

 

I have a rule. Ignore praise, embrace criticism. 

I never seek compliment, its generally a dead-end

 

for the creative, it comes with fear – fear of success, 

worry about being parodied.

 

I understand people who think their work is so good 

that criticism must be a lie or a mistake. 

The way past this is to accept any reaction as valid 

– whether its praise or blame, praise or blame.
