but the laughter has to be blissful 

to be worth anything.

 

He was a parson and lived in 

the tiny town of Starvation, Ohio.

Without even a mule to ride on.

Without even an ass to kiss.

 

Without even a log to lie on 

when he lay down in his bed at night.

He was an extremely poor parson.
